Meet Our Doctors
We invite you to meet and learn more about our Northern Virginia veterinarians here at Hollin Hall Animal Hospital.
Emily Fanton, D.V.M.
I grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from veterinary school at The Ohio State University in 2005. I went on to complete a veterinary internship in medicine and surgery at a specialty hospital in Greensboro, NC. In the summer of 2006 I moved to Northern Virginia and joined the Hollin Hall Animal Hospital. Shortly thereafter I met my husband, Andrew, and our family grew in the summer of 2014 as we welcomed our precious daughter, Nora. We also have a spunky orange cat, Grady, who is a constant source of entertainment. He is a fearless hunter of anything from the outdoors that gets inside (mostly insects and dead leaves). I rescued a retired greyhound, Milo, and enjoyed 9 years of his faithful company on long walks and runs. He passed away but has given me such respect for those gentle giants. At the Hollin Hall Animal Hospital I strive to provide compassionate care with a personal touch for all my patients whether they need surgery, medical treatment, dental care or just a wellness check.
Holly Gill, D.V.M.
I opened Hollin Hall Animal Hospital in November 1998 after 15 years of practice in Alexandria, Virginia. Originally from Alabama, I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and my veterinary degree from Auburn University. My husband, Jim, and I live in Mason Neck with our dearest cat Woody, a 14 year old diabetic and his “little” brother”, Jelly Bean. Recently we added, Softly, to our family. He is an energetic standard poodle who loves his daily hikes in the surrounding woods. I strive to provide loving care to our pet friends and helpful guidance to their folks. I especially enjoy surgery, taking care of yellow cats, elderly cats of any color, and any dog that needs my help.
Ami Krasner, D.V.M.
I joined Hollin Hall Animal Hospital in August, 2010 after receiving my veterinary degree from North Carolina State University. I was born and raised in North Carolina, where my parents, two sisters, brother-in-law, and my chocolate lab nephew still live. I really enjoy living in the D.C. area and being a part of this caring hospital team that focuses on high quality medicine. In addition to dog and cat medicine, I like working with exotic species, especially reptiles, amphibians, and marine animals and have a strong interest in oceanic conservation. I even have a vivacious red-earred slider named Franklin who loves eating tomatoes and grapes as treats and flirting with human females. Franklin thinks that he is a really good influence on his two sisters, beagle mixes named Rogue and Daeni. In my free time, I enjoy improvisational comedy, hiking, coaching & playing soccer, swimming, cycling, traveling, snuggling with my dogs (not my turtle) and all kinds of art.
Jacqueline Stock, D.V.M.
I joined Hollin Hall Animal Hospital in January of 2014. I am orginally from central Illinois and earned my veterinary degree from the University of Illinois in 2010. Since graduating, I have worked in private practices in Connecticut, Maryland and my home state of Illinois. In 2011, I moved to northern Virginia, where I met my husband, Jon. We share our happy home with our chocolate lab, Gus, our pointer mix, Clara, and our cat, Fiona. We enjoy traveling, visiting local wineries, and spending time with our families and friends. I particularly enjoy internal medicine and dentistry. I also strongly believe in the value of preventative care. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure after all!
Jessica Sands, D.V.M.
I grew up in Hillsborough, NC, planning to turn my family's garage into a barn. Undeterred when this remodeling project did not quite get the green light, I went to vet school at UC Davis, and have since spent time working with a wide range of animals. I'm lucky to have moved to Alexandria with my husband Ian and cat (Kaia) to be able to join the talented doctors and staff at Hollin Hall. I enjoy wellness care, oral health, and geriatric animals of all sizes. It gives me great joy to get to meet pets and their people and help bring them many more good years together
Julie Welebir, D.V.M.
I joined Hollin Hall Animal Hospital in November of 2016. I am orginally from Potomac, Maryland and graduated with my veterinary degree from Virginia Tech (VMRCVM). Following graduation I worked in emergency medicine in Maryland and private practice in Virginia. I currently live in northern Virginia with, my fiancé Brian and our two dogs, a miniature dachshund named Gracie Lou and a lab mix named Lane. In our free time, we enjoy seeing our family and friends, seeing movies, visiting local wineries and breweries, and traveling. Some of my specific veterinary interests include preventative medicine, wound care and management, animal behavior, and the human-animal bond. I looking forward to providing a loving and relaxed atmosphere during all appointments with our adorable furry friends.
